Tasks

Development of the parts and leading of the simultaneous engineering team "MAL3 Interior Lower Trim" and "MAL5 Sound Insulations Engine and Interior Compartment" from the concept phase over the start of production until to the end of production

Interior Parts include instrument panel, center console, door trim panel, the interior trim(headliner, ABC pillars, carpet…), seat and etc.

Key Responsibility

Development of Interior Lower Trim MAL3 (floor carpets, floor mats, plastic side trim, hood open lever, EPP inserts and parts, foot rest, interior sill finishers, heating ducts) from the concept phase over the start of production until to the end of production. Development of Sound Insulations Engine and Interior Compartment MAL5 (sound insulations and absorber engine compartment, upper sound insolation front wall, heavy layers, plastic parts, interior sound insulations) from the concept phase over the start of production until to the end of production.

Leading of the simultaneous team "MAL3 Interior Lower Trim"

Generation of specifications for all the parts and functions of SE-Team MAL3

Target achievement of all functions and specifications for all the parts of MAL3 and MAL5

Target achievement of development and prototypes budget, cost of the parts (HKprop), product investment, weight, quality, warranty costs and cases, time schedule, commonality and standard parts

Target agreement with the modul leader MAL

Development of interior lower trim for series and car projects with decided life cycle impulse (LCI)

Steering the external development, testing partner and supplier companies

Steering of the team members of SE-Team MAL3, design and testing engineers, quality specialists, manufacturing engineers and resident engineers of the supplier companies

Release of developed parts including achieved geometry and functions of SE-Team MAL3 and MAL5

Qualification

Degreed Engineer in "Automotive or Mechanical or Industrial or Plastics Engineering"

Leadership ability

German and english language knowledge
