• Managing of projects risks and chances concerning schedule, component performance, quality and weight together with the project team

• Managing of existing and new requirements on component level together with supplier experts and technical CoCs as well as purchasing, controlling and vehicle project team at BBA and BMW

• Steering component related change management together with supplier, technical CoCs and purchaising, e.g. gAMS,NAEL, BAW creation and status tracking

• Managing in the problem management process (PMP) in the role of action responsible (MAV) for concept or design relevant issues. Responsible for tracking component related PQM status according to PMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or related other majors / qualifications

• Automotive HV battery concepts and technology

• Functional understanding for hybrid functions and electric vehicles

• Mechanical design and FEM calculation skills as well as operation of related CAE tools (e.g. CATIA V5)

• Profound understanding of mechanical design, geomentic integration and release processes

• process understanding of component development projects in the automotive industry

• Very good communication skills, team and customer orientation

• languages skills: English business fluent

• languages skills: Chinese business fluent

• languages skills: German optional

• Good knowledge in Microsoft office tools

• ability to prepare working results like reports and presentations in clear and precise way

• Analytic and working method, also during work under pressure, creativity and hands-on attitude

• knowledge in quality management and problem solving methods (e.g. 8D, 5why, Fishbone, PPAP... )

• Target oriented, self-responsible and reliable working attitude

• willingness to frequent travelling inside China and extented trips to Munich (2 to 8 weeks)

• Working experience as mechanical design engineer in automotive industry 3-4 Years

• working experience in the automotive development for powertrain or vehicle components 1-2 Years

• Working experience in industrialization of mechanical components 1-2 Years

• Optional working experience with high voltage systems like HV batteries and E-motors, electric energy converters 1-2 Years

• Working with international suppliers and sub-suppliers 1-2 Years
